Cheesecake Brownies (easy version)
it's valentine's day season, and who doesn't love brownies and cheesecake
Hellooooo friends it’s been a while, but I’m back with a few Valentine’s Day recipes coming up! I started a new job last month and it’s been a bit crazy, but I’m excited to be posting again. This is an easy recipe using a special ingredient… box brownies…! This is a small batch recipe for two (or one :D ), but feel free to double the recipe for a full size dessert.
INGREDIENTS
Brownies:
1/2 brownie mix (~9 oz)
1 egg
3 tbsp milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Cheesecake
1/4 cup cream cheese
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tbsp milk
DIRECTIONS:
1. Prepare the brownie mix by mixing all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. I have found that this ratio is the best for making brownies, rather than following the directions in the back. These turn out gooey and thick every time.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, and milk until smooth.
3. Pour the brownie batter into a small baking tray. Then drop spoonfuls of the cheesecake batter onto the top of the brownie layer.

4. Use a toothpick to swirl the cheesecake batter into the brownie batter to create a marbled effect.
5. Bake according to the brownie mix directions but decrease by ~5 minutes so that the batter remains a bit gooey. Do not overbake these!
6. Let the brownies cool completely, then enjoy!
